Why Do You Love That Woman?

By Publisher

An advert for a house in Indonesia went viral online when the woman who offered the house for sale added an extra unusual feature. In addition to the house, she offered her hand in marriage free of charge to whoever would buy the house. The internet advert read for the most part like a regular house listing saying that the single-storey property had 2-bedrooms, two bathrooms, a parking space and a fish pond. But it also proposed to buyers  the free offer: “When you buy this house, you can ask the owner to marry you.” Alongside the advert was the picture of the owner, a 40-year-old widow and beauty salon owner, leaning against a car in front of the house. The advert said “terms and conditions applied” and noted that the offer was “for serious buyers and was non-negotiable.”The house in Sleman, on the island of Java, was up for a market value of 999 million Rupa (about $75,000). The lady really meant no harm, she genuinely wanted to re-marry and settle down again to family life.Quite a lot of men saw this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, a goldmine and a mega-luck that must not be missed, just like somebody reading this article is also envisaging right now.Alright! But what if the material, physical, influential, pity-party reason why you profess to love that woman flies away, what do you do? Will the “love” still be hot and fresh? The answer will likely be a “No”, then you may probably start getting attracted to somebody else with those same material endowments. This is because it wasn’t the woman that was loved initially, it was her material possession that was loved. Indeed, life is not supposed to be lived in that manner- if we are going to reach our maximum potential.Note
  1. People are to be loved, while things are to be used. It should not be the reverse.
  2. Don’t love a woman because of what she has/is today. In life, tables turn dramatically.
  3. There is no perfect person, people have their faults and weaknesses.
  4. Don’t be only magnetised to people’s present financial, occupational, physical and influential status and appearance. Rather, look out for their future greatness. You should be a major part of their greatness and success stories.
