Stress, particularly long-term stress, can be a factor in the onset or worsening of ill health and a shortened lifespan. Stress management is essential to wellbeing and something we should practice every day.”To handle stress better, follow these tips: 

Engage in exercise and profitable leisure

Getting exercise is a major stress reducer. The weekends are the best time to exercise oneself and relax the muscles. Progressive muscle relaxation involves relaxing all the muscles in your body, group by group.Also, you can take a walk in the garden or a stroll through your neighbourhood. The cool scenery of the garden will drastically reduce your stress as you take your stroll. More so, you can likewise get enough sleep too. Deprivation of sleep heightens stress in men. Men need to increase their sleep time, especially during weekends. You get refreshed doing this. 

Spend time with loved ones

Another thing to do is to cut social media and screen time and spend quality time with your loved ones. Oxytocin (sometimes known as the “cuddle hormone”) is released when you hug someone. Oxytocin is linked to increased happiness and decreased stress.Also, finding time to hang out with friends and family members is really a cool way to reduce and handle your stress.  

Engaging in healthy habits

Engage in healthy habits such as eating a balanced diet, restructuring schedules, positive confessions, prayers and meditations, and getting enough sleep daily. There may be advantages to reducing stress in several vitamins and supplements.
