Five Relationship Red Flags Every Man Must Avoid

A red flag is synonymous with danger, evil, destruction and everything that could lead to a temporal or permanent damage to oneself whether physically, emotionally, financially or even spiritually. It is clearly stated in scriptures that strange women (evil women) often turn men to a piece of bread. This means that the man becomes a shadow of himself when a strange woman is introduced to his life. As a man intending to get married, it is important to note these red flags that I will be sharing which some women exhibit and that may subtly manifest in her character.

Anger

Anger is a red flag that any man given to living a peaceful and quiet life should avoid. If you notice that the woman you are dating is exhibiting wild rage, then it is time to think twice about her. If she can’t see that she has a problem or that she needs therapy, you can’t continue with such a woman. Some women who break things or say harsh things in a fit of rage are not likely to make good wives. Don’t delude yourself that you can change her as time goes on. No one can change another person. What you can’t control when you are courting, you won’t be able to control when you are married.

2. Self opinionated

If the lady you are intending to marry is so holy that she doesn’t agree that she makes mistakes, she is a disaster waiting to happen. No matter how beautiful a woman is, there are some areas of weakness in her. If her weaknesses outshine her strength, this will prove more difficult to handle. So, if your woman always wants to have her way in every situation, you are in for a doomed union.

3. Not answering or returning her calls

Technology has made communication easy for lovers. You can be close to your lover on the dial or by chatting on social media apps even if she is many miles away. If a woman is in the habit of not picking or returning your calls, then there is a big problem. No matter how busy a lady is, there are times she would be less busy in which can respond to missed calls and messages. However, if she is in the habit of not responding to your calls or messages, it could be that you don’t matter in her life and that your frequent calls and messages are getting on her nerves. If this is the case, please change your gear to a lady who will appreciate you.

4. Overtly jealous

Jealousy, as much as it can be a positive emotion in which a woman lay claim to what is hers (her man), it can also be a repudiating emotion that comes with terrible outcomes. It is a given that every human being is a jealous being. Even God Almighty, is a jealous God. When a woman is overly Jealous, it is a terrible thing. This means that you can’t have a conversation with any other woman or man except her. This attitude will make her send people away from you. Once they notice that discussing with you irritates your woman, they will avoid you. Many men have lost huge contracts simply because of their overly jealous girlfriends, fiancé or even wives. This is a red flag that you must not overlook.

4. If she is cold towards your family members

There is no bigger red flag than a woman who is cold towards your family members. Such women think marriage is all about “my husband and I alone”. That is a serious red flag you must not be a victim of. Marriage isn’t about your spouse only, it is a family affair. However, there must be boundaries set between your woman and your family members so that the rights of both parties are not encroached on.

Seeing a red flag and turning a blind eye to it is simply asking for big trouble. If you notice any of the red flags shared above manifesting in the lady you intend to marry, it is important to think twice and deeply about it.
