Talking therapy is also called psychotherapy. It is not just a random discussion between two people or a group of people. Talking therapy has a purpose and the purpose is to help individuals going through stress, depression or other difficulties that are negatively impacting their mental health to maintain stable mental health. Having someone to share your burdens with tends to relieve you in a way. Moreover, it is very dangerous to bottle your problems within yourself.
